The Lacetti undercuts most small hatch rivals on price and supplies masses of passenger space for the money. It drives well enough and the 1.4 engine is quiet.
Against
Entry-level cars miss out on some basic equipment and the 1.6 engine is gruff. The cabin materials are unappealing and the ride is unsettled by poor surfaces.
